Hello everyone… Just a quick update. Last weekend I sewed up the Ogden Cami by True Bias. I’m sure you’ve heard of it – the whole community is raging about it.

For mine I chose the size 14 and made a FBA. The pattern is designed for a C cup and I’m a D so I adjusted about one inch and added a bustdart. I am so glad I did, because it makes the whole cami look a little more fitted but still gives my bust enough room.

The fabric I used is from Minerva Crafts. I think they might still have some in stock. It’s a rayon challis and it frays quite badly so I overlocked the whole thing after I closed the darts. What I did not do but should have done, is stay stitching the whole neckline not just the center front and back (can you tell that I just winged it and did not follow the instructions carefully?!). Now I have ended up with a slightly stretched out neckline. I shortened the straps by about 1.5 ” which seemed to – at least partly – fix the issue.

Still the cami is perfectly floaty and such a good garment for the weather we are currently having.

If you want to know how to adjust the cupsize for this, let me know and I will post a more in depth tutorial next time…

Happy Sewing, Nadine
