My latest additions, all in the name of science, hem hem🤓 I tested 3 different methods on how to use classic knit fabrics in bramaking. I have documented everything on my blog if you're interested (link in bio). What is your favorite method?

Oh and just to be clear: If anyone has found a method to just fuse the knit to a stable backing that will hold up in the wash, I need to know 🥳

Meet "Briar Rose"! I was offered to make a bra out of this beautiful and versatile lace and silk satin. The kit is now available at @brabuilders and I even wrote a blogpost about it (link in bio). YAY! I finally finished my April kit from @brabuilders Just in time, too! Ok, I set the time limits myself but I promised myself I would sew up all the bra stuff that comes in in 2022 so my stash does not grow. 🥴

Since the Bra Bee last August I have been working on the Poppy Bralette to make it more supportive and I am glad to say I have finally succeeded. Now on the blog: The "Alice" Cambia bra made out of a beautiful @brabuilders lace and other stuff I got in my BrAdvent calendar last December. This is one of my favorite makes this year - I just love this lace. The lace was quite a bit shorter than what the pattern requires... it worked anyway.

Yay! Finally out of covid-isolation! I have missed sewing so much. This is a bra block I have been working on before the virus got me. I have drawn in all the relevant markers for elastic and different wires I use. Now, whenever I want to try/recreate a style I can just use this block as a base and do modifications around it. These two sets are my „Zitronenfalter“ (literally translated lemon moth) makes. I was surprised to find out that the english equivalent is called brimstone butterfly 🦋 Both sets use materials I got from the @brabuilders BrAdvent calendar. The pictures don’t so the color justice - it’s a pure, saturated yellow. I wrote a short blogpost about these makes, patterns used etc (link in bio) if you‘re interested or need some distraction…

(AD) Sometimes life can get overwhelming but most days sewing helps find some sense of calm. That’s why I called this bra „Silver Lining“. I made it out of a @brabuilders kit that was provided to me.
